Duck Tape Lugguage tag

You will need:

  • Duck Tape
  • Scissors

Optional:

  • Hole punch
  • String
  • Stickers
  • Permanent marker

Step 1

Cut 4 pieces of Duck Tape® about 4 inches long (NB. luggage tag can be made to any size) and lay it sticky side up on your work surface. Lay two of the pieces of tape on your flat surface, sticky side up. Make sure you overlap the edges slightly. Then place the other two pieces of tape on top of the first two pieces sticky side to sticky side. This will create a sheet of Duck Tape®.

Step 2

Using a permanent marker, write your name, address / post code and phone number on your luggage tag.

Step 3

Cut a small slit or punch a hole on one end of your luggage tag.

Step 4

Feed a piece of string or a folded-over strip of Duck Tape through and attach to your luggage.

To make a folded-over Duck Tape® strip: cut two pieces of Duck Tape® to your desired length. Lay one sticky side up on your work surface and cover with the second strip, sticky side down. Trim to desired width.

Step 5

Make your luggage tag out of brightly coloured Duck Tape® and add stickers or fun designs using cut out pieces of contrasting coloured Duck Tape® to help your bag stand out when travelling!
