You will need:
- Duck Tape
You will need:
Make a Duck tape sheet that is 7 inches long by four strips wide: – Cut a strip of Duck Tape® that measures 7 inches and lay it sticky side up on your work surface. – Roll out and cut another strip of Duck Tape® to the same length. – Place the second 7-inch strip sticky side up so it slightly overlaps the edge of the first strip. – Repeat until you have four strips overlapping. – Turn the sheet so the strips run vertically. – Cut a strip to lay across the sticky-side-up strips. Start at the top and work your way down. These strips get placed sticky side down. Add another strip below the last one. Remember to overlap the edges. – Continue laying strips sticky side down until all of the sticky sides of the “bottom” strips are covered. – Trim off edges.
Fold the wallet in half so you have a rectangle.
Use a piece of tape, about 4 inches long, to seal the edge on one of the short sides of the rectangle. Trim of any excess tape.
Fold the wallet in half so the short sides line up. NB: Do this before taping the other side so that the wallet will fold without bulges.
Keep the wallet in the folded position, trim any excess, and tape the other side.
To make the pockets, cut 2 x 4 inch pieces of Duck Tape® and stick them together, sticky side to sticky side, making a Duck Tape® sheet. NB: Make sure you leave about ¼ inch of the sticky side of the tape exposed so it can stick to the wallet.
Trim off the excess tape of the sides and stick the sheet into your wallet.
Cut one piece of Duck Tape® the same size as the piece that you used to seal the edges of the wallet. Place the piece of Duck Tape® over the edge of the packet and wrap it around, like in step 3, to seal the edges. NB: Slip the sides of the credit card pockets where the tape seals the edges to fit credit cards.
Repeat Steps 6-8 to add more pockets.
Decorate the outside of your wallet with different shapes or designs and make it unique!
